Physical Preparation Workshop for Aikidokas

In this workshop we will see:

  • Mobility and stability exercises applied to basic techniques (Tenkan, Irimi, Ikkio, Tachi-Waza, Swari-Waza). 

  • Necessary conditioning to avoid injury

  • Stability and flexibility of the spine in the transfer of movement of the legs and arms.

  • Strength work with body weight to generate stability in taking ukemi

  • Ankle stability to avoid knee pain and improve flat feet.

  • Stability in the scapulohumeral area
